Alvarado is pleased to announce the release of the SVT, an Android-based smart validation terminal. Used to provide access control at stadiums, arenas and other entertainment facilities, our SVT combines high-speed wireless smartphone technology with world-class validation performance.
The cost-effective SVT provides superior 1D/2D barcode scanning. It also validates RFID/NFC credentials and supports the printing of receipts and seat locator slips during the entry process. The unit operates on a full spectrum of Wi-Fi frequencies, provides cellular communication, and will operate for a full day on a single charge.
The SVT has a compact form factor that is intuitive and easy for operators to navigate. Highly ruggedized, the terminal is an industrial grade device. It is highly resistant to water and dust infiltration and has a 5’ drop to concrete rating.
The SVT comes preinstalled with Alvarado’s PocketGate for Android application. PocketGate integrates seamlessly with either our GateLink10 access control software or third-party applications using our DirectConnect API.

GateLink10 serves as the admission platform for hundreds of facilities worldwide. The software integrates with a wide variety of ticketing systems and operates with our portfolio of intelligent admission turnstiles, pedestals and the SVT. GateLink10 provides a wide variety of features to optimize entries at front gates, parking entrances and secondary access control points inside the venue.
DirectConnect API
For ticketing companies that have their own access control solution, our DirectConnect API provides clear, easily implemented web service protocols to allow direct communication with our intelligent admission pedestals, turnstiles and the SVT.
