Supervisor 5000 is the slimmest turnstile solution in company’s lineup
CHINO, CA – The Supervisor 5000, the newest optical turnstile in Alvarado’s extensive product line, was introduced at the ISC West Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The SU5000 combines Alvarado’s superior detection technology, motorized swinging barrier panels and an architecturally styled cabinet, along with a number of highly desirable features.
The SU5000 is highly attractive. Cabinets are less than 7” wide, so the product takes up very little floor space and the design makes liberal use of architectural glass. The SU5000 also has custom options, such as LED accent lighting, logo etching on glass panels and custom cabinet and lid materials. Swinging panels can be waist high, or full height for higher security installations. “The SU5000 is an architectural product that integrates into virtually any lobby,” said Bret Armatas, Alvarado president.
The door-like panels of the SU5000 are controlled by powerful motors that quietly open the panels fast enough for rapidly moving patrons. Opening and closing speeds are adjustable, and the product is offered in standard and disabled access widths.
Long known for the superior detection capabilities of its optical turnstiles, the optics of the Supervisor 5000 provide excellent general detection parameters and excel at detection of “tailgaters.”
Like all Alvarado optical turnstile products, the SU5000 integrates with Alvarado’s GateKeeper control and monitoring software. GateKeeper eliminates clunky control panels by allowing the control, administration and monitoring of multiple optical turnstiles from a single PC.
