The MT is a four-arm turnstile that provides entry access and pedestrian directional control in all types of public environments. The turnstile rotates in one direction only in either the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction.

The MT crowd control turnstile is built to withstand the demands of todays retail environment. Alvarado turnstiles are made from solid steel materials with long lasting internal components. It is not uncommon for our turnstiles to see in excess of 20 years of field operation.
Other MT turnstile features
The MT turnstile’s four arm rotating section moves smoothly and silently and requires very minimal hand pressure to move. The turnstile comes standard in clockwise rotation, but can easily be changed to counter-clockwise rotation in the field.
The MT turnstile comes in a bright chrome finish and includes turnstile arms, yoke, horizontal rail and end posts as shown.

Alvarado turnstiles, pedestrian gates and modular posts and railing provide an inexpensive and effective method of controlling pedestrian and shopping cart traffic flow patterns. Using Alvarado’s directional control products at entry points, and requiring patrons to exit through check stands or similar monitored areas, will reduce shoplifting and shrink in retail and grocery stores.

Pedestrian traffic flow control applications
The MT turnstile is often used in a store front entry design layout. Commonly installed in conjunction with Alvarado’s pedestrian gates and modular post and railing, the product controls the flow of patrons into supermarkets, drug stores, discount stores and other retail establishments. Other locations where MT turnstiles are used include cafeterias, amusement parks and health clubs or anywhere crowd control, pedestrian access control or pedestrian flow control is required.

Additional Information
The MT turnstile can be ordered with factory attached rail outlets for integration with Alvarado’s modular posts and railing. Loose outlets can also be ordered for field installation.
