Waist High Security Gate

VSG gates are ideal for use in providing wheelchair or material delivery access. Gates can be installed alone or used in conjunction with turnstiles and/or railing.

VSG gates come either manual (no lock) or with a electric lock control. The VSG-1 is a manual gate (no lock) that opens in one direction. The VSGX-1 has an electric lock (magnetic lock) and also opens in one direction.

All VSG(X) gates self-close and come with a hydraulic dampener that controls the gate during the closing process. All versions are available with either infill bars or a clear acrylic panel and wheel chair decal (see photos at right). Post outlets can be added to either the hinge or patch posts to incorporate Alvarado posts and railing. Ask your Alvarado representative about Alvarado manufactured stainless steel posts and railing.
