FACILITY ENTRY / ADMISSION CONTROL
Since 1993, when Alvarado effectively ushered-in the era of bar code ticket validation for major league stadiums, more and more sports venues have chosen to add ticket scanning at the point of facility entry.

With today’s Internet-driven ticketing systems, sports teams at both the major league and college level increasingly understand the importance of having software and hardware components that offer compatibility with current technologies, including print-at-home tickets and wireless RF communication.

Alvarado has created partnerships and integrated our products with various ticketing technology providers. Our ticket validation systems are used to validate millions of tickets every year, and have become the platform of choice for some of the most highly regarded sports venues in the U.S. and abroad.

Our SQL-powered GateLink Validation software communicates in real-time with Alvarado ticket scanning hardware and works with most any ticket system or service.

Alvarado’s full line of innovative ticket scanning devices includes our EDCX-SC and EDCX-SCP turnstiles. Available features include built in color patron TFT display, bar code/ magnetic-stripe readers, plus ticket and coupon printing capabilities. Wired or wireless Ethernet, plus battery powered portable operation are also available.

Other ticket scanning devices include Alvarado’s PocketGate handheld scanners, a proven solution for facilities that require the flexibility of wireless scanning.

For facilities that wish to augment their current turnstiles, Alvarado’s new VHA ticket scanning head attachment mounts to the top of a turnstile, or can be affixed to a wall or stanchion, and is available with wired or wireless Ethernet communication.

PATRON COUNTING
Alvarado offers a number of options for accurate patron counts. Lithium batter powered counters may be added to any of our waist high security turnstiles, providing years of trouble free operation for counting/access control applications.

For computerized counting, our GateWatch software works with Alvarado patron counting turnstiles such as our EDC, SLT and SU500 models. It can be used as a stand-alone counting solution, or may be used in conjunction with Alvarado ticket scanning devices and GateLink software.

LINE MANAGEMENT / PATRON QUEUING
Alvarado’s pedestrian queuing products may be used at ticket windows, concessions and customer service areas. From modular post & rail systems to retractable belt stanchions, Alvarado’s queuing solutions are a cost effective way to ensure smooth patron flow.

STADIUM EXITS
MST full height turnstiles are often used to provide one-way exit-only passage for stadium patrons. MST turnstiles are available in stainless steel, galvanized and powder coat finishes.

OTHER ACCESS CONTROL
Alvarado security turnstiles are designed to integrate with virtually any type of access control/identification system, making it easy to secure practice facilities, team offices or other areas that require credentials for access.
