Intelligent Admission Turnstile

Alvarado's intelligent admission turnstile consists of our newest Ticket Admission Scanner (TAS12) mounted atop our most popular waist high turnstile, the EDC. Designed to work with Alvarado's gate control solutions, the TAS12 is generally used for patron self-scanning of 1D/2D, print-at-home and cell phone tickets.

The TAS12 is the latest generation of intelligent scanning devices, combining the functions of its predecessors - the TAS and TAS II. It includes a bright color TFT display with touchscreen overlay, an internal barcode scanner and a powerful controller that communicates with Alvarado system servers via wired Ethernet. It is integrated directly into the lid of an EDC series turnstile and unlocks or locks the turnstile arms based on valid/invalid notification from the system. The system can be configured for both patron self-scanning and attendant assisted entry applications.
