The Department of Homeland Security has magnified this with recent dollars being allocated to these efforts. The MST Series of Full Height Security Turnstiles is Alvarado’s solution to meet these needs. MST Turnstiles create a physical barrier that can only be accessed when valid credentials are presented. The MSTX has been designed to ensure that once a single passage has been completed, the unit automatically re-locks, eliminating “piggybacking”. The MST Series boasts superior construction with the use of fully welded components, which replaces the need for the exposed bolts and fasteners commonly seen on other turnstiles.

The MST has been designed for continuous, heavy-duty operation, and is rated for outdoor use. MST Turnstiles are available in both single, double (tandem), 4-arm, and extended arm models. Finishes include hot-dipped galvanized, poly-coat, and satin stainless steel.

ADDITIONAL HIGH SECURITY SOLUTIONS

Alvarado also recommends its line of MSG Full Height Gates. The MSG(X) allows passage for persons in wheel chairs, couriers, parcel deliveries and other special access needs. The MSG(X) comes with kick plate and hydraulic closure to ensure that the gate returns to the closed position. Options include panic exit hardware and electric lock control.
