MEDIUM SECURITY /
BOARDING AREAS
Waist high tunstiles provide accurate patron counts and may also be integrated with access control, fare collection or ticket validation systems at manned entry points. Alvarado EDC and SLT three-arm waist high turnstiles are available in a number of manual and electric lock configurations to meet the needs of a wide range of applications.

Alvarado also offers the Supervisor line of optical access turnstiles that are designed for easy integration with card readers/ID systems and are available in barrier wing, barrier arm and barrier free models.

Also available are Alvarado's VMG and VRG waist high electric lock gates. These gates can be used with turnstiles or for stand alone applications.

HIGH SECURITY / RESTRICTED AREAS
Full height turnstiles are typically used to control entry to restricted, high security areas. They may be integrated with access control/ID systems, or simply used as a one-way, exit-only solution.

Alvarado's MST Series of full height security turnstiles are the preferred choice for these applications. Our electrically operated full height turnstiles integrate with virtually any access control/ID system including proximity and biometric readers. Rated for continuous duty and outdoor use, the MST is designed to ensure that once a rotation has been completed, the turnstile will automatically re-lock and wait for the next activation., preventing unauthorized personnel from gaining access.

Besides the popular MST, Alvarado also offers the CLST and CPST, which offer increased visibility without compromising security. Depending upon model, single, double (tandem), and extended arm models are available in various finishes.

Alvarado also recommends its line of MSG Full Height Gates. The MSG(X) is an ideal solution when maximum security is required, but persons with special needs may not be able to access the turnstile (courier, wheel chair, etc.). The MSG(X) is provided with a kick plate and a hydraulic closure to ensure that the gate returns to the home position. Additional options include panic hardware and electric lock.
