STORE ENTRY / CUSTOMER FLOW / LOSS PREVENTION
Alvarado's modular Post & Rail Systems can be used to direct the flow of patrons, control shopping cart access and provide indoor cart corral solutions. Available in standard double and triple-rail post configurations, and dozens of stock railing lengths, Alvarado Post & Rail is economical, durable and easily configured and installed for most any type of store layout. Chrome, stainless steel and powdercoat finishes are available.

Security and queuing effectiveness can be increased by incorporating Alvarado turnstiles and gates. Alvarado offers three turnstile models that provide varying levels of control, the MT and the SPT. Both models rotate in a single direction (entry) limiting passage to that direction.

Gates are used to provide disabled and store personnel access as well as for providing product loading and unloading access. Alvarado offers several styles of gates to meet your specific needs. Be sure to consider ADA and building code requirements when selecting gates for entrance control usage. Alvarado offers both manual swing and self-closing gates.

CART ENTRY
Alvarado's rugged GDO gate is suitable for use in any application where customers are required to bring in carts from outside the store. GDO self-closing gate arms open in a single direction and include welded crash plates and high impact bumper strips, making them ideal for demanding environments. For added security in cart-pass applications, the GDO is typically installed in pairs (one pair of gates installed directly behind the other) making it difficult for patrons to exit the “wrong way”, and reducing shrinkage.

ASSET PROTECTION
Refrigerated and non-refrigerated display cases and other fixtures represent a significant investment for retailers. Alvarado offers a number of products to protect these valuable assets, including our popular Defender SS/XT removable steel corner guards. Defender SS corner guards are available with unique color accent caps to match a variety of decors. For fixed-anchored case guards, Alvarado also offers our classic CPI and CRI corner guards.

Modular floor bumper systems are also used to protect cases and fixtures, and may additionally be used with Post & Rail for cart corral applications. Available products include Alvarado's stainless steel SSB removable bumper systems, and our heavy-duty spring-action CB cart bumper system.

To protect main entry and back room doors, storage area equipment, as well as refrigerated case corners, Alvarado offers a line of fixed, removable and core-drilled Protection Posts. These durable steel posts & bollards are available in various models and finishes suitable for a wide range of applications.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AREAS
Alvarado’s Retractable Belt Stanchions are easy to set up, simple to store and make layout changes a snap. Available in a variety of finishes and belt colors, Alvarado stanchions may be ordered with silk screened logos and belt messages. Integrated sign holders and signs are also available.
