Handheld Ticket Scanning

Alvarado’s PocketGate™ ticket validation/lookup application gives venues the ability to scan barcoded tickets in real-time, using a convenient, easy-to-use handheld scanning device.

The PocketGate™ application is specifically designed for use with our GateLink™ Validation system, and comes installed on a mobile PDA.The integrated bar code scanner in this device provides high performance scanning, even in bright light. Validation of traditional, print-at-home and cell phone bar codes are all possible using the PocketGate system.

Alvarado’s PocketGate™ is an extremely flexible barcode ticket validation solution for disabled/stroller entrances, or for venues that have entry points without turnstiles, such as performing arts facilities or convention centers.

It is also the ideal complement to ticketscanning turnstiles at larger facilities, making it possible for supervisors to scan tickets in real time, or use touchscreen entry to quickly look up ticket usage information.
