GateConnectGateConnect allows companies with their own access control software to communicate and control Alvarado’s intelligent admission turnstiles and handheld scanners. GateConnect is best thought of as two way “middleware”. It transmits bar code numbers and other media scanned at Alvarado intelligent admission devices to the access control system, and it passes commands from the access control system to the Alvarado intelligent admission devices. For ticketing companies that want to use their existing access control software (or end users that are clients of such companies), GateConnect provides a simple, straightforward, way to integrate Alvarado’s engineered hardware into your front gate solutions. It also provides access to Alvarado’s wide array of products and our years of experience. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, it eliminates the cost and frustration of cobbling together and supporting an ever changing mix of turnstiles, gates and controllers. |
