EDC turnstiles are easy to install and integrate with any access/identification system. No external bolts or fasteners are used in the fabrication or anchoring process, and the unique bullet style head and arms provide an extremely comortable patron passage width. Other features include hydraulically dampened arm rotation with automatic arm self centering, plus investment grade stainless steel internal castings and hardened stainless steel locking components.

The EDC is available with manual (EDC) or electric (EDCX) operation. A rugged industrial grade controller, optical rotation detection, interface relays, and time out functionality are all standard on electrically controlled models.

Special configurations include the EDC Extended (longer arms/extended cabinet). Cabinets are available in #304 stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish, or color powder coat.
