Alvarado's EDC turnstiles are
the perfect choice for high volume patron counting applications.
The EDC (shown
at right) and EDC Bullnose (shown below)
feature precision cast internal components, a smooth, hydraulically
dampened arm rotation, and a very comfortable patron passage
width.
For installations were power is not available,
the EDC uses a mechanical microswitch to output counts to
a local battery powered digital counter, and/or Alvarado's GateWatch™ computerized
patron counting software.
For applications where power is available,
electrically
controlled EDCX models utilize a state-of-the-art controller
with opto-interrupter rotation detection. This
feature,
offered exclusively by Alvarado, eliminates the need for mechanical microswitches
and the accompanying adjustments that are often required.
All EDC models are available as fixed
or portable units, and may be ordered in extended configurations,
with longer arms and cabinets. Cabinets are available in
satin stainless steel, as well as a variety of durable powder
coat finishes.
Alvarado's economical,
space-saving SLT waist
high turnstiles can provide an effective patron counting
solution. When configured with available mechanical microswitch
option, the SLT can send counts to a local battery powered
digital counter, as well as to Alvarado's GateWatch™ counting
software.
All SLT turnstiles include precision
cast internal components, hydraulically dampened arm rotation
and wide patron passage width. Available in black powdercoat
finish with a stainless steel lid, SLT turnstiles can be
ordered as fixed or portable units.

Alvarado's Supervisor
500 optical
counting turnstiles provide highly accurate entry and exit counts.
Because they are barrier free, SU500 lanes have a higher patron
throughput rate than conventional turnstiles.
The SU500 Series
recognizes tailgating and can differentiate between objects and
people. For single or bi-directional operation.

The
SU500CL is the center-lane version of the SU500.
It uses less space
for multi-lane configurations because center cabinets contain
a sending unit for one passage lane and receiving unit for adjacent
lane.
SU500 series turnstiles work with Alvarado's GateWatch software.
Single lane units are often ordered as a portable turnstile, with
base plate and power/communication ports for quick connection/setup.
